Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

Victory Christian Academy’s Early Learners Program provides a nurturing, Christ-centered environment for infants through preschool-aged children, along with before- and after-school care for elementary-aged students enrolled at VCA. We believe the earliest years of a child’s life are foundational. Our goal is to create a safe, engaging space where every child is loved, cared for, and encouraged to grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically.

Our classrooms combine hands-on learning, play-based exploration, themed activities, and age-appropriate skill development guided by Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards. Through interactive learning centers, circle time, music, stories, movement, and creative play, children build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and develop a love for learning from an early age.

Faith is woven naturally throughout each day as children learn about the love of Jesus in a warm and welcoming environment. We are passionate about partnering with families and building meaningful relationships with every child entrusted to our care.

Preparing Students for Kindergarten

Our Pre-K program intentionally prepares students for the academic demands of kindergarten by building strong foundations in early literacy and mathematics.

Student progress is measured through ESGI, an individual, skills-based assessment designed for young learners. Rather than producing one overall test score, ESGI allows teachers to evaluate each student’s mastery of specific foundational skills, identify strengths and areas for growth, and provide instruction tailored to individual needs.

Five years of ESGI assessment data demonstrate the strength of our Pre-K program:

  • 92% average mastery of foundational literacy skills, including rhyming, syllable awareness, concepts of print, and letter recognition
  • 90% average mastery of foundational math skills, including number recognition, shapes, counting, one-to-one correspondence, and number sense

These results reflect our commitment to helping students develop the skills, confidence, and strong academic foundation they need to enter kindergarten prepared to succeed.

Victory Christian Academy welcomes families from all backgrounds and does not discriminate.

Admissions shall be made without regard to race, color, religious creed, disability, ancestry, national origin, age, or sex.
